21 June – Sports Day Against Vetting, London

The Case Against Vetting logo

The Manifesto Club’s ‘Campaign Against Vetting’ will host an informal sports day in a central London park, for volunteer adults, parents and their children. This is a day for fun games and races – and also to celebrate adult volunteering and informal community sports. No CRB checks required!: just bring trainers and sports clothes; and children (if you have or can borrow some). All ages welcome, and all sporting abilities. Non-sporting volunteers also welcome to help run races.

This sports day is in association with the IoI Parents’ Forum. Read the
testimonies from organisers and attendees, on the worrying overregulation of community life.

Time: from 2pm
Place: Chingford Plain, Chingford. See map
Transport: Train from Liverpool Street station; or drive and park in carpark of Queen Elizabeth’s Hunting Lodge (circled on map).

If you would like to come, please email Jane Sandeman, to give us an idea of numbers.
